I'm Roger Skilton. I'm sure you'd like to know a little bit more about the person you are going to trust with photographing your special day

I've been passionate about photography from an early age and studied photography at Croydon College of Art.

My wedding photography is all about images that tell a story.

I try to capture a wider view, with images of your wedding day shown in context; each individual picture works well by itself but looks even better when compiled into a storybook album that you and your family will treasure for generations.

People and their reactions are the focus of my approach to wedding photography, I make the most of available light, I use it to capture atmospheric images of your day. Whether you have chosen a candlelit church or a bright, modern venue, I'll capture the mood of your wedding day.

I use black & white to emphasise composition and lighting and to give a timeless quality to my images, and colour where it gives strength to an image.

Mine is a relaxed, story telling style of photography, although I trained using formal techniques, I like to shoot candid, natural images as I create elegant, beautiful photographs, making clients look their best, while having fun & being themselves in front of the camera. Of course I still take a selection of formal and group photographs, but my unobtrusive quiet style enables me to capture those intimate moments, while ensuring that both of you enjoy the maximum time with your family and friends.
No two weddings are the same, so the first step is to work out how my services will fit into your wedding day. An initial consultation can be combined with taking a look at more of my work and see examples of my wedding albums. However, many of my clients choose to book me over the phone or via email if they want to secure my services but aren't able to arrange a visit until nearer their wedding day.

I am accompanied to weddings by my wife Beverley who is there to ensure complete attention to detail.
Just prior to your wedding, we will meet for a comprehensive consultation to ensure that your special requirements and any particular requests will be achieved on the day.
